Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Submitbox form-submission service (the “Service”) provided by [Company] (“Submitbox”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Submitbox receives submissions from HTML forms you connect via an access key, and delivers them to you by email, webhook, and a dashboard, with spam protection, storage, and export. Features available depend on your plan.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and access keys and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • collect, transmit, or store unlawful content, or content that infringes others' rights;
  • send unsolicited bulk or spam email, including via auto-responders;
  • circumvent rate limits, quotas, or security measures, or attempt to access data that isn't yours;
  • collect sensitive categories of data without a lawful basis and appropriate safeguards.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section or create risk for the Service or others.

4. Your data & responsibilities

You are responsible for the data your forms collect and for having a lawful basis and any required notices or consents from the people who submit them. As between the parties, you are the controller of submission data and Submitbox is your processor; our Privacy Policy describes how we handle data. You must maintain your own privacy policy where required.

5. Plans, billing & cancellation

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through our payment processor, Stripe.
  • Plans include a monthly submission quota; submissions beyond the quota may be rejected until the next cycle or an upgrade.
  • You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Fees may change with reasonable notice.

6. Availability & warranties

We work to keep the Service reliable but provide it “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind except as required by law. Any uptime commitments apply only where expressly stated for your plan.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Submitbox will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; you may export your data beforehand.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms and will revise the “last updated” date; material changes will be communicated where reasonable. These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
